Clover Avenue School Booster Club Direct Donation (Ongoing)

A Letter From Clover’s Booster President

Hello Clover parents,

My name is Tracy Boulanger and I am the President of Clover Avenue’s Booster Club for the 2013-2014 school year. I am very excited to continue the work we started last year to get people more involved and to help the importance of giving when LAUSD keeps cutting our budgets.

Our Direct Donation Drive last year was our most successful ever. Families more and more understand that it is our participation that gives our school all the amazing extras that our children enjoy and benefit from everyday. However there is still more work that needs to be done.

Our goal this year will be to raise a total of $200,000. Of that, our goal would be $125,000 through our Direct Donation Drive.

We understand it is difficult for every parent to make the suggested $500 donation, but what we are asking for, is for you to give whatever you can. For some families that may be $200 for others it may be $1000. It is different for everyone. However, we can only meet our goal if everyone pitches in. We are so appreciative of all donations.

If you can’t give the Direct Donation of $500 all at once, no problem, make payments, and if you truly can’t do that, give what you can, then help raise the rest. This is the most important fundraiser we have because 100% of the entire donation goes directly to the programs for our kids. A donation form is included in this packet. Please fill it out and return it with the rest of your forms. You can also make a donation with your credit card on our website at

Just imagine if everyone could give the $500, we would meet our entire $200,000 budget just from our Direct Donation Drive!

Not only are we asking for a monetary donation but we also ask for you to volunteer your time. We are all really busy, but it is possible to make time, and I am asking parents to re-prioritize and fit getting involved into your schedules this year. We are asking that every family to donate a minimum of 10 hours to our school. It is actually fun and rewarding to be part of a goal we all work towards together. Let’s take pride in helping our school hit our goal.

I am ready to commit to working hard to make sure your child gets a quality education. In return, I am asking you to commit to helping me be successful by getting more involved. Remember, a few parents cannot do this alone. I look forward to working with all of you!
